Blossoming

It's amazing how something can start as just an idea and quickly blossom into something more.  These past few weeks have been a whirlwind, but I am finally starting to feel as if things are coming together.

Thanks to my talented photographer friend, Missy Leone, I now have pictures to show you what I have been working on.  For those of you who can't come to my house or an event to see my hair accessories in person, this is a great way to get an idea of what I have to offer. 

Everything you see on this blog is either available for immediate purchase or is something that I can recreate.  I am also open to your creative input if you don't see exactly what you have in mind.  I have lots of colors and accessories to choose from.

First Event

When my good friend, Cheryl, approached me about having a table at Canyon Creek MOPS Spa Day, I was very excited, but I was a little overwhelmed.  My fledgling business was just barely more than a concept at that point, but I knew it would be a great incentive to get things going.

It was a bit crazy, getting everything from enough product to business cards and this blog up and running in time for the show, but the end result was that it was a huge success! I loved getting feedback on my designs and seeing real women and kids putting them on and enjoying them so much.  It was also thrilling to make my first profits. . . which went immediately into supplies to make more accessories.

One thing is for sure, I am hooked on getting out into the community and sharing my designs with others.  Let me know if you have an event coming up where I can come set up a table.

Hi!  My name is Chelsea Jamerson and I am a wife and SAHM to two amazing kids.  I live in Snohomish, WA., and recently started my own business, Barrettes and Beyond.  I create handmade barrettes, headbands, infant headbands, photo mats, painted blocks, and more!
